Our story about artificial intelligence and telemedicine

• Over twenty-five years ago HealthGenie's big sister Isabel (Isabel Healthcare) started a journey to teach medical doctors and nurses worldwide how to better diagnose and treat patients.  Isabel AI has been applauded industry wide for its effectiveness in teaching and supporting thousands of medical students and practicing doctors worldwide as a highly effective diagnosis and knowledge resource.
• In 2018 the idea for a ROBUST consumer solution was born using the twenty-five-year-old Isabel AI as a foundation. HealthGenie has morphed from an advanced "symptom checker" to the multi-function platform that it is today.
• Unincumbered by the need for drop down menus and smart trees, HealthGenie is carving new ground in patient engagement.  We do NOT promote self-diagnosis by forcing a user to self-select (which one best describes) a best matched symptom.
• As HealthGenie developed we knew identifying a problem was not enough, so our triage feature was developed to offer direction for which level of care supports the required level of treatment.
• To provide a comprehensive solution a highly advanced Care Director was added as the last essential component to our comprehensive solution.
